WALTHERIA
This highly recognized Guatemalan Fashion Designer gave us an already expected parade of colorful prints and mixtures of textures that are his trademark, But what nobody expected was when the models just stood still for more than 15 minutes and nothing happened. suddenly out of nowhere one of the attendees went up to this gorgeous dark skin model and started feeling the fabric of the jacket... and that was the moment when we all realized it was an interactive fashion show.
We could all touch, lift and just plain stare at the garments. It was one of a kind experience because we could actually look at everything up close and personal.
Another part of the show I enjoyed was the presence of one of my favorite brand of accessories,Medium. The quirky but very usable clutches gave each outfit the final touch.
So my final verdict on this show...
I' m gonna start wearing men's clothes and starting with a waltheria suit most definitely.

PAM ROU FW 14/15 : Prism & Gold
You know how some pieces just scream "Sex, Drugs and Rock n' Roll" ?
Well the F/W collection of this amazing designer, has that vibe and much more!
Each piece, and the way the clothes and accesories were put together give us that late "70s early 80s Rock band" feeling as soon as we see it, but never falls into the category of "costumy", and that could make them perfect basic pieces for the summer to fall transition.
the animal print, that the designer behind the brand, Pam Robelo, (one of my best friends FYI) described in her own words as
" Inspired by old classic garage-rock, that for some of us, is More than fashion is a lifestyle..."
