COSMOPOLIJET'S BLACK BOX

I've known this band for about a few years now, formed by the Portillo Brothers and their electronic infused sounds.
As usual I arrived "fashionably late" making an entrance in my red  hooded trench coat by  the mexican designer brand DROPS, because it was raining cats and dogs. We had to walk for about a block because the LUX theather is located in dowtown,  but still made it to the listen to the new proposal this band has in this album. With a much more polished sound and style, the BLACK BOX debut was a success.

I have to warn you my phone took the worst photos ever but we had an incredible time dancing like we used to back in the day when these guys used to play at our favorite bar and art gallery, the NOA.
After the show, the Dj in charge was our "vinyl king" Pablo Lujan with a little depeche mode and new wave anthems that made the night memorable.

Street Styled: Waltheria Fashion Show

Street Styled: July

WALTHERIA

This highly recognized Guatemalan Fashion Designer gave us an already expected parade of colorful prints and mixtures of textures that are his  trademark, But what nobody expected was when the models just stood still for more than 15 minutes and nothing happened. suddenly out of nowhere one of the attendees went up to this gorgeous dark skin model and started feeling the fabric of the jacket... and that was the moment when we all realized it was an interactive fashion show.
We could all touch, lift and just plain stare at the garments. It was one of a kind experience because we could actually look at everything up close and personal.
Another part of the show I enjoyed was the presence of one of my favorite brand of accessories,Medium. The quirky but very usable clutches gave each outfit the final touch.
So my final verdict on this show...
I' m gonna start wearing men's clothes and starting with a waltheria suit most definitely.

Brahva Summer Music Festival

For some of us,just as stylle and fashion, music is an important part of our lives, we just can't live without it.
That is why when I discovered Music Festivals, I found my heaven on earth.

The first festival this year was the BRAHVA SUMMER FEST, usually they bring really crappy artists or at least none that I'm interested in. But this year they made my day with an incredible DJ lineup that included Sebastian Ingrosso, R3hab, the beautiful Emma Hewitt (my sister got the chance to meet)and others. For me the main reason I attended was the amazing band "Empire of the Sun", not only the music was incredible,  the whole performance was out of this world.

The right accesories
the right clothes
the attitude
We had the music and we had the style.

and they made us feel so ALIVE!
